Early picks

Seattle -1.5 (top pick)
Just taking the better team, looking for a Cincy melt down. Glad to read today that Corey Dillon is trying to help my bet out by demanding a trade.

Rams +1.5
Rams defense is underrated. Their offense is on fire and I can see them torching the Steelers secondary. Tommy Maddox should also help the Rams out more than he will the Steelers.

Bucs -6.5
Better team wins here, flat out. Dallas is going to learn just how good they aren't in this game. Tampa will be working on the fundamentals all week and foaming at the mouth for this game.

Carolina +2
Panther control the clock and don't let the Saints get on a roll. Stephen Davis will have a field day here.

Eagles -3
The Eagles have won by running the ball and they get the worst run defense and the what do you know, the NFL's 3rd worst rushing defense is coming to town. Factor in a Philly defense getting healthier every week and this game has shutout written all over it.

. I only took offense when I was called a homer and looking through my orange colored glasses(that one was by a ravens fan lol), but it is fine to disagree about this game, I am just wondering what his points are, so it will help me make the best bets I can make.

GL TW Chad. Will not be able to get back on after the first set has KO'd. On all except TB. At least one of us is sure to be on the right side as long as it is not a push.

When you look at Seattle's defense this year and their balance on offense I think they match up well here. Seattle is also 7th in the league in yardage allowed this season. Their team is the 3rd least penalized team in the league. Pass defense is 8th in the league. Here is the key to me, their team is 3rd in the league in turnover differential at +10. On the other side the Bengals are -1. The Bengals are allowing 5.1 yards per play this season and their rush defense is allowing 144 yards per week on the ground. Oh and the Bengals this season are averaging 2.8 yards per carry as a team. I think last week was a good game for them and I took a lump on it. I am looking for some overconfidence from them and a couple turnovers this week. The Seahawks newfound defense is being overlooked this season because of what the Chiefs and Viqueens are doing.

How can anybody take Seattle today minus points to anybody. They are one of the worse as a favorite. The Bengals are hungry and playing super ball. The Bengals should be able to go up down the field like a bird going up and down from the sky.Come to think about it, why isn't the Bengals favored? Last week the public was panting only layin a point with the Ravens at Cincy.Cincy got that fix.So lets see if the Bengals win this sunday, there next home game will have them favored.

Looking at Seattle so far this year, they play who ever has the ball last WINS.Just ask Chicago,Rams, and 49ers.Great teams don't win like this.

The Bengals eat Birds all day long.

Other picks are Ok.A trap bet in New Orleans this weekend.
Anyway just some thoughts.

Cahd what's your record for the year?

chad-on all of them except the bucs...gruden and his boys are looking for a new stadium to play on at home.one of the names nominated that they threw out was overtime stadium...seriously,i see dallas playing them very tough.dallas' numbers are for real.grant it they have played much less stiffer competition than the bucs.but mr. parcells will deliver that message thoroughly this week and get these boys jacked in believin that they can play on this level and you know what...i am sure they can.if anyone is questioning their ability right now it is the bucs!

i was on cincy last week as the only home dog to win outright and they did. this week i have to side with the 'hawks for much the reasons you have already cited.

road faves are sumpin' like 21-7 ATS so far this year and the spreads have been very small contributing to that coverage success.only 1 fair size spread this week and that is the niners laying almost 7 on the road.goo luck in all of your plays.

I feel strongly on the Seahawks this week xflreject. The Cowboys only scare me on a backdoor cover. No way they win this game though. Captain, I am not sure what my record is this season. The bluegrass standings should be out soon, check there.

some of us are talking and we think Dillon and Lewis are pulling a trick. Dillon only would talk to 2 certain Bengal media reps, and he talked about demanding a trade, and when asked about how the deadline was up, he started laughing. The whole thing was so strange. If Dillon isn't just somewhat screwin around though, I hope he gets cut.

you guys ought to hear this whole thing, he is so strange, at one time he talks about winning a super bowl in cincy, another time talks about how he isnt appreciated. This guy is so back and forth.

I think he just wants 20 carries a game. That isn't asking to much. But against the Ravens he has to expect to not get 20 carries. He'll get 25-30 carries this weekend watch.
